We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Senior Structural Engineer to join our progressive Engineering team. Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage structural engineering projects from inception to completion.
- Develop and implement innovative design solutions to complex engineering problems.
- Prepare and review structural engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, mechanical and electrical engineers, and construction professionals.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design and construction standards.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
- Maintain and develop relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in structural engineering.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and managing structural engineering projects.
- Proficient in structural engineering software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SAP2000.
- Excellent understanding of building materials and construction techniques.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex engineering problems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex engineering concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A strong commitment to health and safety practices.
- Proactive and self-motivated with a strong desire to continuously learn and grow professionally.
