We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Superintendent to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our commercial high-rise construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. The role involves direct supervision of all construction activities, from initial planning and design through to final completion. You will be the key point of contact for all stakeholders, including subcontractors, architects, and clients, ensuring effective communication and collaboration at all times.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of commercial high-rise construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time and within budget.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of subcontractors and construction workers, ensuring that all work is performed safely and to the highest standards.
• Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Review and analyze architectural drawings, specifications, and other construction documents, identifying any potential issues or challenges and finding effective solutions.
• Conduct regular site inspections, ensuring that all work is in compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and teamwork at all times.
• Resolve any disputes or problems that may arise during the construction process, ensuring that all work is completed to the satisfaction of the client.
• Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management, providing accurate and up-to-date information on project status and any issues or delays.
• Continually review and improve construction processes and procedures, ensuring that all work is performed as efficiently and effectively as possible.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry, preferably with a focus on commercial high-rise projects.
• In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, standards, and regulations.
• Proven ability to manage large-scale construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time and within budget.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to motivate and coordinate a diverse team of construction professionals.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during the construction process.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, including subcontractors, architects, engineers, and clients.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to effectively plan, coordinate, and oversee multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in construction software, including project management, scheduling, and CAD software.
• A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Certification as a Construction Superintendent or a similar professional certification is an asset.
• A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to various construction sites as needed.
• Must be able to work in a physically demanding environment, including standing or walking for extended periods, lifting heavy objects, and working in a variety of weather conditions.
