Job Details

Responsibilities:
  • Schedule subcontractors, consultants, and vendors in critical path to ensure timely completion.
  • Create, maintain, and update accurate project schedules and 3-week look ahead within Procore.
  • Follow company policies and procedures and model our company culture.
  • Maintain a safe work environment, per OSHA standards, and conduct safety meetings on-site.
  • Recognize and resolve on-site challenges and issues.
  • Perform quality control duties and responsibilities regarding the work being performed.
  • Communicate with project team regarding Drawings, RFI?s, and Material Submittals.
  • Ensure that subcontractors are fully executing and complying with their contracted scope of work.
  • Coordinate required inspections with local jurisdictions.
  • Identify subcontractor non-compliance with safety, health, and environmental quality standards.
  • Identify conflicts in construction progress and communicate them to project team for resolution.
  • Maintain daily logs in Procore of activities on the job site.
  • Ensure subcontractor has corrected all deficiencies identified by project team.
  • Walk project daily to monitor activities and assist in future planning.
  • Conduct weekly subcontractor meetings designed to coordinate the work.
  • Issue notices of non-compliance to subcontractors where required.
  • Ensure that the job site is always kept in a clean and organized manner.
  • Participate in potential project interview(s).
  • Ensure proper signage is posted on-site.
  • Perform job progress and punch list identification to completion.
  • Follow company policies and procedures and models company culture.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Maintains the Company's safety program.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma (any additional experience a plus)
  • 10+ years of commercial construction experience at a General Contractor
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent supervising project teams
  • Extensive experience with commercial tenant improvement projects locally (downtown San Francisco building experience strongly preferred)
  • Full understanding of building codes, OSHA requirements, injury and illness prevention plans, subcontracts, project schedules, submittals, RFIs and similar documents is a must.
  • Ability to read and thoroughly understand architectural and engineered plans, details, and specifications.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Programs, scheduling software (MS Project), and other project management software (Procore)
