The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all stages of the construction process and ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standard.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation
- Allocate resources for assigned projects
- Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
- Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
- Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs
- Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
- Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status
- Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones
- Analyze, manage and mitigate risks
- Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in construction management or a related field
- Full ABC License is preferred
- Construction Supervisor License
- Proven working experience in construction management
- Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods
- Understanding of all facets of the construction process
- Familiarity with construction management software packages
- Ability to plan and see the “big picture”
- Competent in conflict and crisis management
- Excellent time and project management skills
- BS degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field would be advantageous
