Senior Superintendent

An established real estate firm on the multi-family development side with several offices throughout the nation is looking to add a Project Engineer to their growing team. It's important that you have experience within the multi-family industry to assist the PM.

Project:

• 500 residential units
• Eight-story building
• Five levels of type III wood frame construction
• Three levels of type I above-grade, two levels below-grade concrete construction
• Podium
• 6400 sq. ft. of retail

Responsibilities:

• Manage scheduling, contract negotiations, and project oversight
• Ensure safety compliance with OSHA and local regulations
• Oversee contractor activities and empower your team
• Provide scheduling and constructability reviews to developers
• Pre-qualify contractors and monitor construction schedules
• Perform onsite inspections to ensure quality and adherence to plans
• Track construction progress and ensure budget alignment
• Obtain certificates of occupancy
• Lead, train, and mentor other Superintendents and assistants
• Act as a liaison between design, development, and construction teams
• Provide performance feedback and conduct regular staff meetings

Qualifications:

10+ years’ experience in Multi-Family Construction and managing others
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field
Proficiency in Windows (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and construction management software (Microsoft Project)
OSHA 30-hour certification and current First Aid/CPR training
