Job Details

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Plan, supervise and complete routine tax and accounting engagements
  • Gain experience in building and managing client relationships
  • Develop analytical and problem-solving skills to assist clients in resolving issues
  • Prepare corporate, individual, partnership, fiduciary and other tax returns with minimum supervision
  • Review tax returns, workpapers and other documents prepared by others
▪ Compile and review financial statements for partner review
▪ As you gain experience, you will progress to assume responsibility for efficiently supervising all forms of
financial statement engagements
▪ Manage your time and projects and use effective prioritization and communication to manage staff
workloads and complete multiple assignments in a timely manner
▪ Effectively supervise, coach, train and mentor Staff Accountants

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
As a Senior Accountant with us, having the following knowledge, skills and abilities will
give you the best chance to succeed in this position:
▪ MUST hold a current or valid CPA license, or have completed the educational requirements to sit for the CPA exams and be actively working toward obtaining a license.
▪ Technical knowledge sufficient to supervise staff accounts on financial statement audit, review and
compilation engagements, as well as in the preparation of complex income tax returns.
▪ Experience in preparing a wide variety of tax returns, and experience reviewing the work of others
▪ Familiarity with pertinent Internal Revenue Code sections and regulations, research, techniques, and
the various research sources available.
▪ Thorough understanding of generally accepted auditing standards and common audit procedures and
techniques
