Are you a seasoned Tax Accountant with a passion for numbers and a knack for strategic planning? If you are a CPA-certified professional with a strong understanding of tax projections, Roth conversions, and public tax preparation, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join our dynamic Accounting + Finance team. This role will challenge your technical skills, provide opportunities for continuous learning, and allow you to demonstrate your expertise in tax accounting.

Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Senior Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for:

1. Preparing and reviewing complex tax returns, ensuring accuracy, and compliance with state and federal tax laws.
2. Providing expert advice on tax implications of business decisions, identifying tax planning opportunities, and suggesting strategies for minimizing tax liabilities.
3. Assisting with tax audits, responding to tax notices, and resolving tax disputes in a timely and effective manner.
4. Conducting detailed tax projections and Roth conversions.
5. Keeping abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations, and ensuring the company's tax policies and procedures are up-to-date.
6. Collaborating with other departments to provide financial and tax advice.
7. Providing guidance and mentorship to junior tax accountants.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you must have:

1. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
2. A valid CPA certification.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience in tax accounting, with proven experience in public tax preparation.
4. A strong understanding of tax projections and Roth conversions.
5. Excellent knowledge of federal and state tax codes, and the ability to interpret and apply tax laws.
6. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to explain complex tax information in a clear and understandable manner.
8. Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
9. Familiarity with trust, wills, and real estate law is preferred but not required.
