We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join our thriving tax resolution team. This is a permanent position and offers an excellent opportunity for an individual who is ready to make a significant impact in a fast-paced, high transaction volume environment. The Senior Tax Accountant will be responsible for preparing and reviewing corporate tax returns, managing federal and state tax obligations, and providing strategic tax planning. Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and review corporate tax returns, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
2. Conduct thorough analysis of tax-related issues and provide appropriate solutions.
3. Manage all aspects of income tax reporting, including quarterly and annual provisions.
4. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current tax laws and regulations.
5. Provide strategic tax planning and consulting to senior management.
6. Coordinate tax audits and respond to tax notices from various governmental agencies.
7. Collaborate with other departments to integrate tax strategies and ensure alignment with company goals.
8. Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
9. Prepare tax projections and estimated tax payments.
10. Support the tax preparation process for S Corp and corporations.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. A Master’s degree in Taxation is a plus.
2. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) designation is required.
3. Minimum of three years of experience in tax accounting, with a focus on corporate tax returns and high transaction volume environments.
4. Comprehensive knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of the organization.
7. Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
8. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
9. Ability to work independently and take initiative, as well as work collaboratively in a team environment.
10. Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
