Job Details

Key Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Prepare and review complex individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws
  • Provide strategic tax planning and consultation for clients
  • Lead, mentor, and review work of junior tax accountants
  • Manage federal and state tax audits
  • Analyze financial statements and identify tax-saving opportunities
  • Stay current with evolving tax laws and integrate updates into strategies
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to improve reporting accuracy and compliance

Qualifications Needed:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • CPA certification required
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive tax accounting experience
  • Strong expertise in tax return preparation, audits, and tax planning
  • Proficiency with tax software (ProSeries, UltraTax) and QuickBooks Online
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and leadership capabilities
  • Self-starter mindset with a focus on high-quality execution under deadlines
