We are in search of a Permanent Senior Tax Accountant to join our dynamic team in the Accounting and Finance industry. As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for managing, preparing, and analyzing tax records and reports. You will also be accountable for implementing tax plans and preparing paperwork for tax payments and returns. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable dealing with numerical data.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage tax provision and tax compliance process.
  • Improve processes by developing or implementing best practices.
  • Manage and coordinate tax audits.
  • Prepare all tax papers in regular basis and handle all information data requests.
  • Prepare and review corporate, individual, and partnership tax returns.
  • Analyze tax regulations and recommend policies that minimize tax burden.
  • Develop tax strategies to assist clients in being tax-compliant.
  • Prepare accurate quarterly and annual tax reports.
  • Forecast tax predictions to senior managers.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Conduct complex tax research and prepare documentation for audits.
  • Advise management about the impact of new laws on tax liabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master’s degree in Taxation, CPA, or Enrolled Agent certification is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a tax manager or public accountant role.
  • Strong knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance and all types of tax returns.
  • Good at meeting deadlines and solving problems.
  • Exceptional client service along with the ability to develop excellent client relationships.
  • Strong leadership and personnel management skills.
  • Analytical skills with detail orientation.
  • Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with U.S. federal, state, and local reporting requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of tax code, compliance and procedures for corporations.
  • Familiarity with a wide range of financial transactions including Returns of Income, Corporation tax, Income Tax, VAT, PAYE, RCT.
  • Experience with S Corp, 1065 partnership, and 1040 individual returns.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure while maintaining professionalism.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
