Job Details
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for businesses and individuals.
Provide tax planning and advisory services to clients, ensuring compliance and optimizing tax positions.
Research and interpret complex tax regulations to support client engagements.
Collaborate with clients to gather necessary information and address tax-related inquiries.
Assist in the preparation of tax provision calculations and related financial statement disclosures.
Mentor and train junior tax staff, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
Stay current with changes in tax laws and regulations and advise clients accordingly.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA certification required.
4+ years of progressive tax experience in a public accounting firm or similar environment.
Strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Proficiency in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
