Job Details

Key Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Prepare and review individual (1040) and trust (1041) tax returns
  • Conduct tax projections and liability assessments
  • Manage client relationships and assist with tax notices
  • Supervise new staff and mentor junior team members
  • Research and apply new tax laws and regulations
  • Utilize accounting software to gather and analyze client data
  • Recognize and prepare amended returns when needed
  • Adhere to deadlines and prioritize work effectively
  • Stay current with changing tax regulations
  • Embrace new technologies and software solutions

You should have most of the following:
  • CPA or EA designation required
  • Degree in Accounting or equivalent professional experience
  • Minimum 5 years of public accounting experience
  • Strong experience with individual and trust tax returns
  • Demonstrated client relationship management abilities
  • Proficiency with accounting and tax software
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and supervisory skills
  • Interest in leveraging information technology for accounting solutions
