Job Details
Key Responsibilities:
You should have most of the following:
- Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, corporations, S corps, and partnerships
- Perform tax planning and research on complex taxation issues
- Provide book-to-tax reconciliations, adjusting journal entries, and accrual-to-cash adjustments
- Review simple returns and provide constructive feedback to preparers
- Mentor and train staff, interns, and admin
- Support client relationships and communicate tax strategies
- Work extended hours during tax season as needed
You should have most of the following:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA license or actively pursuing
- Minimum 3 years of public accounting experience focused on tax
- Proficient in CCH ProSystem FX and Excel
- Strong technical knowledge in tax prep and planning for various entity types
- Experience with trust, estate, and nonprofit returns a plus
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaborative
