Are you a finance professional with a passion for tax law and a knack for numbers? We are looking for a Permanent Senior Tax Associate to join our dynamic Accounting + Finance team. As a senior member of our team, you will play a critical role in managing and facilitating the accurate preparation and filing of our organization's tax forms. You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of tax structures including 1040 individual returns, HNW Tax, ccorp, scorp, estates, partnership, trust, and more. This position requires a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of tax law.

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and review complex tax returns (1040, HNW Tax, ccorp, scorp, estates, partnership, trust) ensuring accuracy and compliance with state and federal tax laws.
2. Conduct detailed account analysis and create adjusting journal entries as necessary to maintain accurate records.
3. Prepare and analyze balance sheet and cash flow reports, identifying and addressing any discrepancies.
4. Provide tax planning services to clients, advising on potential tax implications and strategies to minimize tax liability.
5. Stay updated on current tax practices and changes in tax law.
6. Assist in tax audits and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
7. Collaborate with team members to improve processes, workflow, and overall service delivery.
8. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff members.
9. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and expert advice.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. A CPA certification is highly desirable.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a tax role with a focus on 1040 individual returns, HNW Tax, ccorp, scorp, estates, partnership, trust.
3. Strong knowledge of tax law and experience with various entities such as S Corp, Corporations.
4. Proficient in creating and analyzing balance sheets and cash flow reports.
5. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
6. Strong analytical skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on data.
7. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
8. Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
9. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
10. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and tax preparation software.
