We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Permanent Senior Tax Associate. This role provides an exciting opportunity to be part of a leading firm in the Accounting and Finance industry, where you will play a crucial part in managing and driving the success of our tax operations. You will work closely with a diverse team of professionals and have the opportunity to develop your career in a supportive and challenging environment.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Senior Tax Associate, you will be responsible for the following:

1. Preparing and reviewing complex tax returns including federal and multi-state returns for C Corporations, S Corporations, partnerships, high net worth individuals, trusts & estates, and non-profits.
2. Conducting detailed tax research and planning to optimize tax efficiency for clients.
3. Assisting with tax audits and tax returns.
4. Reviewing financial statements and making necessary adjustments.
5. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients to provide excellent customer service.
6. Assisting with the development and implementation of tax planning strategies for clients.
7. Providing guidance and mentorship to junior staff members.
8. Staying updated on the latest tax regulations and legislation to ensure compliance.
9. Participating in professional development activities to improve technical knowledge and enhance professional skills.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree or CPA certification is highly desirable.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting or a similar role with a strong focus on taxation.
3. Proven experience in preparing and reviewing 1120s.
4. Knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
7. Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
8. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
9. Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality work under pressure.
10. Strong commitment to professional and client service excellence.
