Job Details

Our finance industry client is seeking a Tax Manager to join their team. This role will be responsible for managing the tax compliance process and providing tax planning and consulting services to clients. The ideal candidate will have a CPA, Tax Manager, EA designation, and experience with 1040.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the tax compliance process, including preparing and reviewing tax returns, extensions, and estimated tax payments
  • Provide tax planning and consulting services to clients, including identifying tax-saving opportunities and advising on tax implications of business decisions
  • Research and interpret tax laws and regulations and stay up-to-date on changes to tax laws
  • Manage relationships with clients and provide excellent customer service
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff members

Qualifications:
  • CPA, Tax Manager, or EA designation
  • 3+ years of experience in tax compliance and planning
  • Experience with 1040
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of tax laws and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience with tax software and Microsoft Office suite
