Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Tax Senior to join our progressive Accounting and Finance team. This is a unique opportunity for a talented individual to lead and manage multiple operations of the tax practice area and to deliver quality tax services that will increase the firm's reputation. You will serve as business advisor to our clients aiming at maximizing engagement and achieving qualitative outcomes.

Responsibilities:

As a Tax Senior, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Assist clients with individual, partnership, corporate, and other tax services including, research, planning, and compliance
  • Assist in the training and development of new staff members in accounting best practices
  • Nurture long-term client relationships with effective and consistent communication

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Senior Tax Manager position will have the following qualifications:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. Advanced degree preferred (e.g., Master's in Taxation, JD, and/or LLM).
2. A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in public accounting or a combination of corporate and public accounting experience.
3. Proficiency in Tax Review, Federal & State Tax, High Net Worth, and Corporations.
4. CPA certification is a must.
5. Strong accounting and analytical skills.
6. Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
7. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
8. Strong leadership and personnel management skills.
9. Analytical skills with the ability to think out of the box.
10. Proficient use of applicable technology, specifically Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
