Job Details
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Manager to join our team. This is a permanent 100% remote position with the option to be hybrid if you desire (and reside in the Greater Chicago Area). The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of c-corp, s-corp, individual tax returns, partnership, and high net worth (HNW) and ultra-high net worth (UHNW) tax planning.

- Develop and implement tax strategies for clients to minimize tax liabilities and maximize returns.
- Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for c-corp, s-corp, individual, partnership, HNW, and UHNW clients.
- Conduct tax research and analysis to keep up-to-date with tax laws and regulations.
- Provide tax planning advice to clients to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
- Manage client relationships and communicate with clients regarding tax matters.
- Collaborate with other departments within the organization to ensure tax compliance and accuracy.
- Identify tax issues and provide solutions to minimize risk and exposure.
- Assist in the development and implementation of tax policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in tax within a public accounting firm, 3 of which in a managerial position.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of c-corp, s-corp, individual tax returns, partnership, HNW, and UHNW tax planning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and remotely.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- CPA or EA certification preferred.
