We are on the lookout for a dynamic and experienced Senior Water Resources Professional Engineer (PE) to join our team. This is a permanent, remote/hybrid role in the construction industry, where you will be tasked with managing and executing a wide range of water resource projects. You will be working in an exciting and challenging role, where you will be given the opportunity to showcase your technical expertise and leadership skills. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in the relevant field.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Water Resources PE, you will:

1. Lead the design and development of stormwater management systems, erosion control, grading, and drainage plans.
2. Conduct advanced hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, and develop innovative solutions to manage water resources effectively.
3. Oversee the design and implementation of wastewater treatment systems and sewer networks.
4. Ensure all designs and implementations adhere to local, state, and federal regulations.
5. Provide expert consultation on water resources management to internal teams and clients.
6. Conduct site inspections and assessments, identifying potential issues and proposing effective solutions.
7. Collaborate with a team of engineers, hydrologists, and other professionals on large-scale projects.
8. Prepare detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders, outlining project progress, challenges, and solutions.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field. A master's degree will be an added advantage.
2. A valid Professional Engineer (PE) license.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience in water resources engineering, with a focus on stormwater management, erosion control, grading, drainage, and wastewater treatment.
4. Extensive knowledge of hydrology, hydraulic modeling, and the latest water resource management technologies and techniques.
5. Proven experience in the design and implementation of sewer networks.
6. Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively.
8. Proficiency in using industry-standard software for hydrologic and hydraulic modeling.
9. A strong understanding of local, state, and federal regulations related to water resources.
10. The ability to work effectively in a remote or hybrid setting, with minimal supervision.
