We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Service to lead our service department across multiple locations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the department, including working closely with service managers, maintaining positive communication within the team, fostering a positive culture, and overseeing the use of dealership software. This role requires a strategic thinker who can develop and implement processes to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage the entire service department: The Director of Service will be responsible for managing all aspects of the service department across multiple locations. This includes ensuring that all work is completed on time and to a high standard, and that all staff are working efficiently and effectively.
2. Work closely with service managers: The Director of Service will work closely with service managers to ensure that they are effectively managing their teams and that all work is being completed to a high standard.
3. Maintain positive communication within the team: The Director of Service will be responsible for fostering a positive culture within the team, and ensuring that all staff are communicating effectively and working together to achieve their goals.
4. Oversee the use of dealership software: The Director of Service will be responsible for overseeing the use of dealership software, and ensuring that it is being used effectively and efficiently.
5. Develop and implement strategic processes: The Director of Service will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic processes to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction. This includes identifying areas for improvement, developing strategies to address these areas, and implementing these strategies.
Qualifications:
1. Experience with Service Department: Candidates must have significant experience working in a service department, and a thorough understanding of how such departments operate.
2. Experience with Dealer Management: Candidates must have experience managing a dealer, and a thorough understanding of dealer management.
3. Experience with Service Managers: Candidates must have experience working with service managers, and a thorough understanding of how to effectively manage a team.
4. Communication: Candidates must have excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of people.
5. Positive Culture: Candidates must have experience fostering a positive culture within a team, and the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
6. CDL: Candidates must hold a current CDL.
7. Dealership Software: Candidates must have experience using dealership software, and a thorough understanding of how to use such software effectively and efficiently.
8. Strategic Processes: Candidates must have experience developing and implementing strategic processes, and a thorough understanding of how to use these processes to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.
