We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Service Manager to join our manufacturing industry team. As a Service Manager, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of the service department, including mechanics, warranty procedures, and customer service. You must have excellent leadership skills, be a great communicator, and possess a strong technical background.

- Manage and oversee the service department, ensuring all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Hire, train, and supervise mechanics, ensuring they are performing their duties to the highest standard.
- Manage and oversee the warranty claims process, ensuring all claims are processed accurately and efficiently.
- Work with customers to resolve any issues or concerns they may have with their equipment.
- Ensure all equipment is maintained and serviced according to the manufacturer's specifications.
- Develop and implement service policies and procedures to ensure the department is operating efficiently.
- Manage the department's budget, ensuring expenses are kept within budgetary constraints.
- Maintain accurate records of all service work performed and ensure all paperwork is completed correctly.
- Ensure the service department is compliant with all safety regulations and guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in a service manager role in the manufacturing industry.
- Strong technical background in mechanics, truck, and trailer maintenance.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage a team of mechanics and service personnel.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Knowledge of warranty claims procedures and processes.
- Ability to develop and implement service policies and procedures.
- Strong budget management skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and guidelines.
