We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Service/Sales Engineer to join our team. This full-time, permanent position is a unique opportunity that blends technical expertise with sales acumen. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and selling our innovative wastewater treatment solutions to new and existing clients. This role is a perfect fit for someone with a strong background in wastewater systems, automation systems, and a passion for sales and customer service.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide expert technical support to customers, including troubleshooting and repairing wastewater treatment systems.
2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing exceptional service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
3. Conduct detailed needs assessments and recommend appropriate wastewater treatment solutions.
4. Prepare and deliver technical presentations that explain our products or services to customers and prospective customers.
5. Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide sales support.
6. Secure and renew orders and arrange delivery.
7. Plan and modify products to meet customer needs.
8. Help clients solve problems with installed equipment.
9. Recommend improved materials or machinery to customers, showing how changes will lower costs or increase production.
10. Assist in research and development of new products and services.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Field Service Engineer or Sales Engineer.
3. Proven experience in wastewater treatment and automation systems.
4. Exceptional technical knowledge of the engineering industry and market developments.
5. Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
6. Strong problem-solving skills with a creative approach for new ideas.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
8. Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.
9. Proven ability to manage and prioritize tasks.
10. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
11. A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel as needed.
