Job Details
Currently seeking a Controls Service Manager to join an established Mechanical Contractor in the Charlotte market. This role is responsible for the overall management, operation, development and growth of the Service Department.

- Oversee all service operations activities, ensuring effective planning, organization, direction, and control.
- Balance financial metrics with employee and customer needs, submitting monthly financial forecasting information.
- Enhance planned and executed margins for Service projects, maintenance agreements, and Time & Material agreements.
- Manage and expand customer service agreements, consolidating into multi-portfolio accounts.
- Provide technical and operational support for sales teams, offering proper pricing and scope-of-work definition.
- Lead a team of Field Technicians and support staff, forecasting labor needs to exceed customer commitments.
- Build and maintain an efficient operations organization focused on customer and employee satisfaction for profitable growth.
- Manage hiring, training, development, allocation, and performance assessment of personnel.
- Support scheduling to meet customer needs, conduct one-on-one reviews with direct reports, and provide technical support for installed projects.
- Communicate regularly with customers and coordinate startup activities to ensure correct staffing and abilities for project commitments.
MUST HAVE:
- Five years of building technologies industry experience, and two years of management experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A thorough understanding of project management processes.
- Valid Driver’s license with a clean record.
