Job Details
An opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, experienced, and highly skilled Permanent Service Technician to join our team in the construction industry. This role is integral to our operations and demands a professional with a proven track record in the industry. The successful candidate will have a strong background in troubleshooting, electrical systems, and blueprint reading. This role is perfect for someone who is comfortable working in various environments such as public works and schools, and has a California Electrical License.
Responsibilities
1. Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment within public works, schools, and other construction sites.
2. Reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and schematics to ensure the correct installation and repair of electrical systems.
3. Conducting regular inspections of systems and equipment to identify any issues and prevent potential problems.
4. Troubleshooting and diagnosing faults in electrical systems and equipment, then implementing effective solutions.
5. Ensuring all work complies with relevant electrical codes and safety regulations.
6. Providing excellent customer service, addressing any queries or concerns promptly, and ensuring client satisfaction.
7. Collaborating with other team members and departments to ensure smooth operations and successful project completion.
Qualifications
1. A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Service Technician in the construction industry or a similar role.
2. A valid California Electrical License.
3. Extensive knowledge of electrical systems installation, maintenance, and repair.
4. Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and schematics.
5. Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
6. Excellent knowledge of electrical safety and adherence to regulations and standards.
7. Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle queries and complaints effectively.
8. Experience working in public works and schools will be an added advantage.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
