Job Details

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Litigation Shareholder to lead our litigation practice and play a key role in the firm's overall success. This role requires a demonstrated ability to manage complex litigation, develop and implement effective legal strategies, and build and maintain strong client relationships.

Responsibilities:

Lead Litigation Matters:
Take the lead in managing complex litigation matters, including drafting and filing pleadings, motions, and briefs; conducting discovery; preparing for and participating in depositions and court hearings; and negotiating settlements.

Client Management:
Build and maintain strong client relationships, advising them on their legal rights and obligations, and providing regular updates on case progress.

Case Strategy:
Develop and implement effective legal strategies, including identifying key issues, developing persuasive arguments, and preparing for and conducting trials.

Shareholder Disputes:
Advise and represent clients in shareholder disputes, including derivative actions, class action lawsuits, and other shareholder litigation matters.

Corporate Governance:
Provide legal advice on corporate governance issues, including fiduciary duties, director and officer liability, and compliance with corporate law.

Team Leadership:
Mentor and supervise other attorneys and staff, ensuring that they are well-trained and supported.

Business Development:
Contribute to the firm's business development efforts, including developing new client relationships and marketing the firm's litigation practice.

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Membership in the Colorado state bar association.
Extensive experience in litigation, with a strong track record of successful outcomes.
Experience in shareholder litigation and corporate governance issues.
Excellent communication, analytical, and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong understanding of legal procedures, court rules, and ethical considerations.
