Job Details
Currently hiring for a Sheet Metal Estimator in the Austin area who will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive bids for HVAC and sheet metal systems. This role works closely with engineering, fabrication, and project management teams to ensure scope alignment, cost accuracy, and project success.

- Prepare detailed cost estimates for HVAC and sheet metal systems
- Review drawings, specs, and scope to determine material and labor needs
- Collaborate with design and project teams to identify value-engineering options
- Solicit and analyze vendor and subcontractor quotes
- Support preconstruction and project management teams during bid reviews
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of estimating experience in mechanical or HVAC construction
- Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and installation
- Proficiency with estimating software (e.g., QuoteSoft, Trimble, or similar)
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
