Job Details
You should know/have some of the following:
2+ years of experience in precision sheet metal fabrication, working with various materials and tooling.
Proficiency in setting up and operating a range of sheet metal equipment.
Strong blueprint reading skills and ability to work to tight tolerances as specified in engineering drawings.
Knowledge of math and trigonometry to perform precise measurements and calculations.
Set up and operate a range of precision sheet metal equipment, including shear, CNC Turret Punch Press, Punch Press, Press Brake, Spotwelder, Power Notcher, power roller, hydro press, resistance seam welder, expander, assembly, form bellows, and debur.
Interpret blueprints and follow engineering drawings to fabricate parts with dimensional accuracy.
Independently run jobs from setup to first article, taking responsibility for the quality of the work.
Collaborate with team members to develop guidelines for sheet metal assembly production.
Utilize mathematical and trigonometric knowledge to perform various tasks effectively.
