Job Details
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Lead to oversee daily logistics operations at our manufacturing facility. This role ensures the accurate, efficient handling of incoming and outgoing materials.
Responsibilities:
Oversee shipping and receiving processes for raw materials and finished goods
Schedule and coordinate freight shipments and deliveries
Inspect incoming materials for accuracy and damage
Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
Lead and train shipping/receiving staff as needed
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in shipping/receiving or warehouse operations
Experience in metals or manufacturing industry preferred
Strong organizational and communication skills
Proficient with inventory systems and basic computer use
Leadership experience
Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus
Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
