Shipping & Receiving Manager

Responsibilities:

• Follows all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s), and Safety Procedures
• Manages Packing, Shipping, and Receiving departments.
• Verifies and keeps records of outgoing shipments.
• Compiles and maintains database of Packing, Shipping, and Receiving documents.
• Assists with coordinating shipments.
• Arranges logistics for shipment of products and components.
• Prioritizes task to ensure timely shipment of orders.
• Familiar with UPS labeling system.
• Uses UPS World Ship.
• Communicates with Customer Care about any changes or issues of Domestic, Car Stock and International orders.
• Assures that all employees are working in a safe manner following Standard Operating Procedures. (SOP’s)

Qualifications:
* 4 years of shipping & receiving experience in a manufacturing environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Prior supervisory experience and experience with shipping & receiving.
* Experience with Amazon domestic and International, Ecommerce Domestic and shipping international to multiple countries
* Knowledge of duties and taxes as they pertain to international logistics would be helpful – and especially experience with working with Amazon Germany.
1. Proven track record of successfully managing logistics and shipping operations for non-EU businesses exporting to Germany.
a. Demonstrated ability in handling complex customs clearance processes, shipping documentation, and compliance with German regulations.
2. Strong understanding of International Trade Customs regulations:
a. Knowledge of Value-Added Tax (VAT), Economic Operators Registration and Identification number (EORI), and Importer of Record (IOR) requirements.
3. In-depth knowledge of German customs regulations and Amazon Germany's custom clearance requirements.
a. Ability to handle complex customs clearance processes, shipping documentation, and compliance with German regulations and Amazon FBA requirements.
4. Must be familiar with Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) Compliance:
a. Thorough understanding of Amazon FBA program and its requirements for shipping products to Germany.
b. Ensure that all shipments are in full compliance with FBA guidelines to facilitate smooth and efficient export.
