Job Details

Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Lead daily operations of the shipping department during 2nd shift, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all outgoing shipments
  • Plan and direct staffing, training, and scheduling to meet production and shipping goals
  • Verify shipments against documentation and resolve any discrepancies
  • Maintain relationships with transportation vendors to control costs and ensure reliable deliveries
  • Drive continuous improvement by recommending and implementing more efficient shipping processes
  • Monitor and maintain compliance with safety standards and company procedures
  • Manage team performance through coaching, recognition, and corrective action when needed



Qualifications (Needed)
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse supervision
  • Strong background in shipping operations, inventory management, and process improvement
  • Proven ability to lead and develop a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to work 40+ hours per week, including overtime as needed
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and work in a plant environment with temperature variations
