Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Accurately interpret and work from blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings.
2. Operate and maintain a variety of machinery including cold saw, vertical saw, and burnout table.
3. Perform burnout procedures with a high level of precision.
4. Conduct electrical and hydraulic assembly operations in accordance with established specifications and guidelines.
5. Inspect and test completed units to ensure they meet quality standards and performance specifications.
6. Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in machinery and equipment.
7. Collaborate with the team to improve assembly processes and achieve efficiency goals.
8. Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
9. Report any issues or discrepancies to the supervisor promptly.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Shop Technician or similar role in the construction industry.
2. Proficient in blueprint reading and operating machinery such as cold saw, vertical saw, burnout, and burnout table.
3. Demonstrated experience in electrical assembly, hydraulic assembly, and assembly.
4. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
5. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
6. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
7. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
8. Physical stamina and dexterity to handle heavy machinery and work in a physically demanding environment.
9. Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations in the construction industry.
10. High school diploma or equivalent. A relevant certification or apprenticeship is a plus.
