As a Major Account Executive, your mission is to drive new sales from named prospect accounts within your assigned territory. In this role, you will partner cross-functionally with internal teams to drive business opportunities from initial prospecting through negotiation to contract close. This is a quota carrying role and critical to the continued growth of our SIEM solution.
Serve as a trusted advisor and industry expert to prospective customers
Stay current on competitor offerings and be able to identify their strengths and vulnerabilities - why we win and why we lose.
Turn client feedback into actionable strategies to drive new business and address competitive risks.
Influence client decisions and advocate for client needs to negotiate solutions.
Work closely and communicate effectively with various cross functional teams including Sales Engineering, Sales Development, Account Management, Customer Success, and Revenue
Accurately enter, update, and maintain daily activity, forecast and opportunity information in Salesforce.
What you’ll bring:
5+ years of closing experience at a technology company.
Experience at an Enterprise SIEM company or Enterprise Cybersecurity Company with SIEM
Strong track record of success driving revenue through prospecting and creating new business, predicting an accurate forecast, and demonstrated pipeline management
Ability to travel up to 25% to customer meetings as needed.
Remote Job - must reside in the SouthEast US area (South TX, LA, AL, MS, TN, AR)
