We are seeking a motivated and experienced Site Manager to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a global leader in the renewable energy sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all operations at our site, ensuring all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires a strong understanding of the solar and renewable energy industry, as well as a background in the construction, oil, and gas sectors.
Responsibilities:
As a Site Manager, you will have a wide range of responsibilities that include but are not limited to:
1. Overseeing all site operations and ensuring all projects are executed according to plan.
2. Ensuring all site activities comply with company policies and health and safety regulations.
3. Coordinating with project managers and other team members to ensure all aspects of the project are aligned.
4. Conducting regular site inspections and audits to ensure quality standards are maintained.
5. Identifying potential issues or delays and implementing effective solutions.
6. Performing root cause analysis on project delays or failures and implementing corrective actions.
7. Managing and maintaining all site resources, including equipment and staff.
8. Providing regular updates and reports to senior management on project status and performance.
9. Training and mentoring site staff to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications:
1. Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Site Manager or Project Manager in the renewable energy sector.
3. Proven experience in the construction, oil, and gas industries.
4. Strong understanding of solar and renewable energy technologies.
5. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
6. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to perform root cause analysis.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
9. Proficient in using project management software and tools.
10. Strong understanding of health and safety regulations in the construction and energy sectors.
11. Willingness to travel as required.
