Must be open to 10 days on 4 days off - Work Schedule, and occasional travel nationwide to substitute for another
Site Superintendent.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Site Superintendent to join our team. This exciting role is at the heart of our mission-critical operations, responsible for overseeing the construction of state-of-the-art data centers and distribution warehouses. The successful candidate will be directly involved in the construction process, ensuring the smooth operation and timely completion of projects. This role requires a hands-on approach, with the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging projects and the responsibility of managing a diverse team of construction professionals.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Review and interpret project plans and specifications, making recommendations for improvements and adjustments as necessary.
  • Coordinate and supervise a team of construction workers and subcontractors, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
  • Manage and mitigate project risks, identifying potential problems before they occur and implementing effective solutions.
  • Ensure all construction activities comply with safety and building regulations, maintaining meticulous records of all site activities.
  • Liaise with clients, architects, and engineers, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns or queries.
  • Conduct site inspections and audits, ensuring all work is carried out to the highest standards and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Manage project resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, ensuring optimal utilization and minimal waste.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within the data center or distribution warehouse construction sector.
  • Extensive knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulations.
  • Proficient in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems, with a strong understanding of data center infrastructure.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing mission-critical construction projects, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team of construction professionals.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and mitigate potential issues before they occur.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and construction teams.
  • Proficient in the use of construction management software and tools.
  • A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Certification in Construction Health and Safety or a related field is a plus.
