Responsibilities:

As a Skilled Laborer, your key responsibilities will include:

1. Reading and interpreting blueprints, sketches, or building plans for performing tasks as assigned.
2. Performing a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor in concrete and construction projects.
3. Operating a variety of hand and power tools, including drills, hammers, and small mechanical hoists.
4. Handling tasks related to concrete construction such as mixing, pouring, and finishing.
5. Conducting demolitions, clearing and preparing sites for construction, and setting up scaffolding.
6. Ensuring all work is carried out following company standards, adhering to safety protocols, and maintaining a clean and hazard-free work environment.
7. Collaborating with project managers and team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
8. Providing expert advice and consulting services to clients and team members on various construction projects.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, you must have:

1. A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
2. Proven experience in concrete construction, demolitions, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints.
3. Proficiency in using various hand tools and construction machinery.
4. Physical strength and stamina to lift and move heavy objects weighing up to 50 pounds or more.
5. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
6. Demonstrated ability to follow instructions, adhere to safety protocols, and maintain a clean work environment.
7. A high school diploma or equivalent. A relevant certification or apprenticeship in construction or a related field would be an advantage.
