We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) RN Manager to join our team. This role is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned nursing professional who is passionate about providing exceptional care and leading a dedicated team in a fast-paced, challenging, and rewarding healthcare environment. The RN Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of our Distinct Part Skilled Nursing Facility, ensuring that the highest standards of care are maintained at all times. Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the Distinct Part Skilled Nursing Facility, ensuring that all care is provided in accordance with established policies and procedures, and meets or exceeds state and federal regulations.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of nursing professionals, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment that encourages growth, development, and a high level of job satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality and effectiveness of patient care, making necessary adjustments and improvements as needed.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as budgeting, scheduling, staffing, and performance evaluations.
  • Maintain open and effective communication with patients, families, and staff, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest developments in nursing care and healthcare management, implementing best practices and innovative approaches to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1yr of experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Current and unrestricted RN license.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution. A Master's degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration is preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with Distinct Part Skilled Nursing Facility operations.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and guide a team towards achieving common goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, staff, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to make sound judgments under pressure.
  • Proficiency in using healthcare software systems and technologies.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
  • A passion for providing the highest quality of care to patients, and a dedication to improving the healthcare experience for patients and their families.
