Job Details

An ideal candidate will fully understand the optimal design for all the components that make up the system to achieve scalability (virtually unlimited capacity), throughput (load balancing, multi-threading, multi-process), reliability (high availability, failover/healing), and automatability (for deployments and operations: configuration, patch, update, upgrade, migration) in virtualized environments.

This individual will be instrumental in the design of the software as it evolves from a monolithic platform to a microservice architecture.

  • Java, java, java!*
  • Linux (preferably RedHat)*
  • AWS experience is required
  • Object Oriented Design
  • Maven for Build
  • Agile/Scrum
  • Microservices experience is highly preferred
  • TCP/IP is a plus
  • C/C++ is a plus

***Please note - we are not looking for web focused engineers. Any experience with desktop applications is a major plus!
