Job Details
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Software Engineering Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of talented software engineers in the fast-paced HealthTech industry. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Python, RESTful APIs, and microservices.
As a Software Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for:
1. Leading a team of software engineers to develop, implement, and maintain our health tech services.
2. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
3. Ensuring the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
4. Identifying and correcting bottlenecks and fixing bugs.
5. Helping to maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
6. Ensuring compliance with industry regulations, including PCI, HIPAA, ISO 27001, and NIST
7. Utilizing Atlassian tools for project management and documentation.
8. Conducting code reviews and mentoring junior team members.
9. Collaborating with senior management to define software plans and strategies.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
2. 7+ years of experience in a software development role, with at least 3 years in a hands-on managerial position.
3. Proficiency in Python is a must.
4. Strong experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
5. Experience in the healthcare or healthtech industry is a bonus.
6. Familiarity with Atlassian tools like Jira or Confluence.
7. A deep understanding of PCI and HIPAA compliance will be a plus.
8. Proven experience in leading and managing the delivery of system/software development projects in a structured environment.
9. Experienced with relational databases such as MySQL
