Position Summary
The Senior Software Test Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of current and future software products. This role is responsible for independently designing, maintaining, and executing both manual and automated testing frameworks that support robust software development life cycles.

Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain manual and automated test frameworks to support robust software validation.

Plan and execute smoke tests, patch tests, internal release validations, and full product release testing.

Develop and execute comprehensive end-to-end, operational, and performance test plans.

Collaborate cross-functionally with development and other departments to align testing strategies and resources.

Perform software verification and validation activities, providing formal documentation of test results.

Assist in the creation and review of release documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy.

Evaluate and continuously improve existing testing and validation processes.


Experience & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.

3–5 years of experience testing across the full software development life cycle.

Skills & Competencies

Proficient with testing tools such as Selenium WebDriver and Postman.

Solid programming knowledge in Java and Python.

Familiarity with version control systems and bug-tracking tools (e.g., Git, Jira).

Experience with test management tools is preferred.

Working knowledge of scripting, build tools, databases, and installation processes is a plus.

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, particularly in test framework development and automated testing.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly report issues, results, and recommendations.

Creative and strategic thinker when approaching test coverage and design.
