We are an industry-leading renewable energy company, seeking a dedicated and experienced Solar Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent, full-time position offering an opportunity to work on cutting-edge solar projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of commercial solar projects from conception to completion. This includes planning, executing, monitoring, and closing projects while ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

Responsibilities

As a Solar Project Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Overseeing the entire lifecycle of commercial solar projects, from initial planning and development through to completion and post-installation review.
2. Coordinating and managing project teams, ensuring clear communication and effective collaboration.
3. Developing detailed project plans, including setting project goals, planning project timelines, determining necessary resources, and establishing project budgets.
4. Managing project risks and issues, implementing effective mitigation strategies, and escalating issues where necessary.
5. Monitoring and reporting on project progress, including budget tracking and schedule performance.
6. Ensuring all projects comply with industry regulations and standards, as well as company policies and procedures.
7. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, suppliers, and contractors.
8. Continually seeking opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and efficiency gains.
9. Conducting post-project evaluations to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 3 years' experience in a Project Management role within the solar or renewable energy industry.
2. Proven experience managing commercial solar projects from inception to completion.
3. Strong knowledge of solar technology, industry regulations, and best practices.
4. Excellent project management skills, including planning, organization, risk management, and problem-solving.
5. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
7. Proficiency in project management software and tools.
8. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred.
9. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
