Job Details
Our client is looking for a developer in business plans and sales strategies for the food ingredient market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
This person will be implementing action plans to penetrate new markets, responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with current/prospective clients, and cost containment and savings in all areas.
The sales manager will need to maintain accurate records of all pricing, products, and projects while creating and conducting proposal presentations and pricing responses. 50-60% of travel is expected to support and contribute to trade shows and maintaining/building customer relationships.
During your travels and communication with customers the manager will analyze customer activity to determine trends and opportunities. They will also be required to work with clients or potential clients on product development. Being able to coordinate all this information with a team is extremely vital (Purchasing, Production, Customer Service, etc.)
