Job Details

What You Will Be Doing

Deliver individualized instruction to students with visual impairments and multiple disabilities
Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with families and school staff
Participate in Pre-IEP and IEP meetings and progress reviews
Create a structured, inclusive classroom environment tailored to student needs
Integrate assistive technology and adaptive strategies into daily instruction
Collaborate with therapists, specialists, and educators to support holistic student development

Skills You Need

NJ CE, CEAS, or Standard TOSD Certification (mentorship year accepted)
Minimum 2 years of experience with children with disabilities
Willingness to pursue NJ Teacher of the Visually Impaired Endorsement (tuition reimbursed)
Strong communication, planning, and collaboration skills
Comfort working in a multidisciplinary, inclusive setting
