We are looking for a dynamic and driven Consulting Speech Language Pathologist to join our Tech Services team. This is a unique opportunity to work in a tech-forward environment, helping to shape and improve our services for children and young adults up to the age of 21. The ideal candidate will be able to start as soon as possible and potentially work through the end of the school year, with the opportunity for extended school year (ESY) and next school year (NSY) employment.
Our chosen candidate will be expected to work 37.5 billable hours per week and manage a caseload of approximately 30 students. This role may require work across multiple sites including Galina, Wharton-Chester, and/or Rock Hall. However, there will be no travel required on the same day and we are open to discussing your location preference. Part-time applicants are also welcome.

Responsibilities:
As a Consulting Speech Language Pathologist, your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Providing high-quality speech and language services to a diverse caseload of students.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Utilizing technology to enhance therapy sessions and track student progress.
- Consulting with teachers and parents to provide strategies and techniques to facilitate communication and language development.
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and IEPs.
- Adhering to all professional, ethical, and legal regulations as mandated by the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Consulting Speech Language Pathologist role will possess the following qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- A current Maryland SLP license.
- Experience working with a diverse caseload of students ranging from birth to age 21.
- Familiarity with a variety of speech and language disorders and treatment methodologies.
- Strong technology skills and the ability to adapt to new systems quickly.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- The flexibility to work across multiple sites, if necessary.
