Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Hertford, NC
Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) – 78-bed short-term rehab and long-term care
Position Type: Full-time | Flexible daytime hours | Immediate need

🎯 About the Role
We are currently seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our interdisciplinary rehab team. This role plays a vital part in helping patients improve their communication, cognitive-linguistic skills, and swallowing abilities.
Whether you're working with residents in short-term post-op recovery or supporting those with progressive neurological conditions, you’ll be a key voice (literally and clinically) in restoring dignity and quality of life.
💼 Responsibilities
Conduct evaluations and create individualized speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing treatment plans
Deliver one-on-one and small-group therapy to patients with diverse diagnoses
Collaborate with OTs, PTs, nursing, dietary, and family members to ensure whole-person care
Educate patients and caregivers on techniques to support progress
Maintain timely, accurate documentation in accordance with Medicare and facility standards
✅ Qualifications
Current Speech-Language Pathology license in North Carolina (or eligible)
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
Experience in skilled nursing, post-acute, or long-term care is a plus
Strong interpersonal skills, adaptability, and a heart for patient-centered care
