As a Permanent Sports Medicine Physical Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced healthcare environment where your expertise in physical therapy will be highly valued. You will be a part of a dedicated team of professionals, all working together to provide exceptional care and treatment for our patients.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive physical therapy services to athletes and individuals who have suffered sports-related injuries. Your goal will be to restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities. You will also have the opportunity to work closely with other healthcare professionals and contribute to the overall well-being of our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients' condition and develop appropriate physical rehabilitation plans.
  • Implement treatment plans using techniques such as exercises, manual therapy, education, and therapeutic modalities.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team members including physicians, athletic trainers, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
  • Monitor and document patients' progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
  • Educate patients and their families about their conditions and teach appropriate exercises or activities for recovery.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest advancements in sports medicine and physical therapy.
  • Participate in professional development activities and maintain professional affiliations.
  • Comply with all federal and state regulations regarding physical therapy.

Qualifications:
  • A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
  • 1+ years of experience in physical therapy, with a focus on sports medicine preferred.
  • Exceptional knowledge of therapeutic practices and procedures.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle a high level of responsibility.
  • Must be able to maintain a high level of physical fitness to demonstrate proper techniques and exercises.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certifications.
  • A passion for helping people and a commitment to providing the highest level of patient care.
