Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of business insurance clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met and exceeded.
  • Develop new business by identifying potential clients, understanding their insurance needs, and proposing tailored insurance solutions.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients, providing exceptional service and identifying opportunities to cross-sell or upsell products.
  • Collaborate with the underwriting team to ensure policies are underwritten accurately and in line with risk appetite.
  • Negotiate with insurers on behalf of clients to secure the best terms and conditions.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and advancements in technology to develop innovative and competitive insurance solutions.
  • Use Sagitta and Image Right to manage client information, process transactions, and generate reports.
  • Work closely with other team members to achieve business goals and objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial lines and commercial insurance.
  • Must be licensed in Property & Casualty.
  • Proficiency in Sagitta and Image Right is a must.
  • Strong negotiation skills and an ability to manage complex business situations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to build strong relationships with clients and insurers.
  • Proven track record in developing new business and managing a portfolio of clients.
  • Strong analytical skills, with an ability to understand complex insurance policies and identify risks.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with a commitment to achieving business goals and objectives.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field is preferred.
