Are you an experienced Senior Accountant looking for a challenging role in the Accounting + Finance industry? We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our dynamic team. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, where you'll be responsible for managing a wide range of financial tasks. The successful candidate will be a key player in managing our financial health and making sure we’re compliant with all regulations.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Accountant, you will:

1. Prepare and examine financial records, ensuring their accuracy and compliance with laws and regulations.
2. Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations to project future revenues and expenses.
3. Prepare, examine, or analyze accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
4. Coordinate with external auditors and manage internal controls.
5. Prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting, or other tax requirements.
6. Develop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems.
7. Advise management about issues such as resource utilization, tax strategies, and the assumptions underlying budget forecasts.
8. Monitor financial activities and details to ensure that all legal and regulatory requirements are met.
9. Leverage your expertise in Healthcare Accounting to navigate the unique financial challenges of the healthcare industry.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA would be an advantage.
2. A minimum of 3 years of professional accounting experience, with a strong preference for experience in the healthcare industry.
3. Proficiency in GAAP, tax, and financials.
4. Proven audit experience, with the ability to work with external auditors and manage internal controls.
5. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
6. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain financial terms in simple language.
7. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify financial discrepancies and propose effective solutions.
8. The ability to work independently, while also being a strong team player.
9. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
10. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
