Job Details

Responsibilities:
1. Support the month-end and year-end close processes by preparing and posting journal entries, reconciling balance sheet accounts, and ensuring the accuracy of financial records
2. Analyze financial results and investigate variances to help maintain the integrity of the general ledger
3. Manage cash activity across multiple entities, including monitoring balances, recording transactions, and performing bank reconciliations
4. Coordinate construction and development accounting activities, including lender draw requests, funding schedules, and related financial reporting
5. Prepare monthly financial statements and assist with the distribution of management reporting packages
6. Maintain accounting records for real estate development and ownership entities, ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards
7. Assist with external audits, tax compliance initiatives, and the preparation of supporting schedules and documentation
8. Process real estate tax payments and maintain related records to ensure timely and accurate compliance


Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
2. 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably within real estate, construction, or development environments
3. Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and financial reporting
4. Experience with account reconciliations, month-end close, and cash management
5. Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities
