Job Details
Contribute to the development of robust, high throughput walkaway automation.
Translate user requirements into design specifications for development of high quality, customer focused products.
Work directly with the assay development team to translate benchtop SOPs into automated processes.
Responsible for design, implementation, testing and support of multi-device integrated systems (liquid handlers, scanners, sequencers, etc.), working with software engineering on device software management.
Work with software QA on test case definition.
Provide service support for in house instrumentation as needed.
Work with the Product and Quality teams for vendor selection and qualification; serve as the key technical liaison for device and instrument vendors.
Play a key role in product launch activities including but not limited to creation of customer facing documentation, training and customer support.
Provide post-launch product support including troubleshooting of customer issues and product stabilization.
Work closely with key stakeholders including Software Engineering, Assay Development, Microbiology, Reagent Development and Product.
Document work per Quality system requirements.
Support R&D team as needed.
