Job Details
Responsibilities:
As the Sr. Buyer, you will be responsible for:
1. Developing and implementing strategic sourcing plans that align with the company's business goals and objectives.
2. Managing the end-to-end procurement process, including supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management.
3. Analyzing market trends and applying this knowledge to make insightful buying decisions.
4. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand their needs and ensure product availability.
5. Continuously evaluating supplier performance to ensure quality and delivery standards are met.
6. Identifying and mitigating risks in the supply chain.
7. Driving cost reduction initiatives through strategic sourcing.
8. Ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
9. Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Sr. Buyer position will have:
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a senior buyer role or equivalent, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
2. Proven experience in strategic sourcing and supply chain management.
3. Strong negotiation skills and a keen eye for detail.
4. A deep understanding of market dynamics and sound business judgment.
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
6. Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex problems.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
9. A bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
